Shawnee Smith is an American actress, singer and musician. She was born on July 3, 1970, and weighs 5'3". Smith is well known for her portrayals in the roles of Amanda Young in the Saw films as well as Linda on the CBS show Becker. Smith was once a member of the metal band Fydolla Ho. The group was on tour in across the United States and the United Kingdom and was a part of Smith & Pyle a desert country-rock band with actor Missi Pyle. The parents of Shawnee Smith were Jim Smith and Patricia Smith. Jim Smith was an ex-pilot in the United States Air Force. He was also a an oncology physician and financial planner. Smith's family moved to South Carolina to Van Nuys California in the year she turned one year old. Her parents split at age two. her mother remarried at the age of eight. She attended Ranchito Avenue Primary School in Panorama City Los Angeles as and Madison Jr. High, located in North Hollywood. North Hollywood High School and graduated in 1988. She was also given an award called the Critics Choice Award in 2017, for Best Actress in a Television Comedy. She was also awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2019 for Outstanding Original Music & Lyrics along with her songwriting collaborators Jack Dolgen & the late Adam Schlesinger. Rachel is currently on tour to promote her show Death Let Me Do My Special. Rachel's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Tour sold out Radio City Music Hall as part of a multi-show tour in the year 2019. The singer also performed on her solo tour, What Am I Doing with My Life? The tour included a week-long residency at Just For Laughs.
